Click anywhere inside a placeholder to select it. This allows you to resize, move, or change the properties of the placeholder.

To resize: position the mouse pointer on any resizing handle until the pointer becomes a double arrow . Click and drag the handle.

To move: position the mouse pointer on the placeholder border until the pointer becomes a four-headed arrow . Click and drag the border.

To change fill or border color: choose Format > Placeholder. In the Format Placeholder dialog box, click the tab, then choose options from the Fill and Line areas.

Tip: Use the other tabs in the Format Placeholder dialog box to apply precise formatting to a placeholder — such as height, width, rotation, and position.
