You
can copy text and graphics from other files to the clipboard and paste them
into PowerPoint slides. The clipboard holds up to 24 items.
- Open a file containing text or images you want to copy into your current
presentation (see Searching
for Files). Choose Edit > Office Clipboard to display
the Clipboard task pane.
- Select a piece of text or a graphic, then click
or press CTRL+C to copy the item to the clipboard. Repeat to copy multiple
items.
Tip: You can copy the selected item and switch to the
Clipboard task pane in one step by pressing CTRL+C twice.
- Switch back to your open PowerPoint presentation by clicking its task
button (e.g.
)
on the Windows taskbar.
- Position the cursor in your presentation where you want to paste items
from the clipboard.
- On the Clipboard task pane, click the text or graphic you want
to paste into your presentation. Alternatively,
click to paste all items.
To clear an item from the clipboard:
position the mouse pointer over the item you want to delete, click ,
and choose Delete. Click
to delete all items from the clipboard.
To set clipboard display options: click
at the bottom of the Clipboard task pane and choose an option from
the list. |
