Reusing Existing Templates

You can base your new presentation on an existing presentation, or have PowerPoint design and outline a presentation for you.

  1. With the New Presentation task pane open, click From existing presentation.... The New From Existing Presentation dialog box appears.
  2. Choose the PowerPoint file on which you want to base your presentation and click . The existing file opens as a new presentation.
  3. Edit the presentation and add slides as needed (see Creating a Presentation with Blank Slides). Adjust the design by changing the template (see Creating a Presentation with Design Templates) or by modifying the Slide Master (see Modifying the Slide Master).
